Mortimer Bay, TAS, AU. FF89, Warp 5.4 and Tectonic 25 Weed.

Finally some big wind for Oct. Dave and I went to Mortimer to try and get a good NM. Not too sure what happened but guess the runs were not long enough. Super tough day in some crazy windy choppy conditions. Nice work Dave, you were going for it....Cool

Very windy with bump-n-jump sailors rigging their smallest sails (3.7/4.2)!  Steve and I rigged our smallest sails, which was a 5.7 for me.  Focus on NM's, but the run was just not long enough, so what we thought would be 30 knot + NM's weren't (if 100m less, they would have been)!!  Very difficult conditions.  Blowing through at about 40 knots at times (just had to stand there waiting for the wind to drop out).  Good fun, but absolutely exhausted now!

South Arm Neck Beach, TAS, AU  "Never in the history of mankind has so much effort produced so little reward!". Went to South Arm neck near low tide (0.4m) hoping the sand would be fully exposed down to the sudden drop-off into deep water to make a "speed-strip", but still thigh-deep water and very choppy, need lower to make it work. Wind direction (SW/SSW) OK, but better to be pure South. Tried for aa NM but couldn't handle the awkward chop.

Marion Bay, TAS, AU

After a couple of hours wavesailing thought I would try for a NM.  Was out of control so didnt even attempt one and my arms and body were dead from wavesailing, so had a few squirts and got out of there before any damage occured to myself or the seal that I nearly hit twice while going through shark alley!!

Howrah, nice quick FSW sail. Very very powered up at times, under at at other times. At least I managed to get out of the house!
