sboardcrazy (24391km):  10-18kt S then 15-20kts + S- SSE Valentine, NSW, AU 7.5m GT turbo- RS4 ( 111ltre) - 39cm C3 sting pointer then RS2 ( 90ltre) - 6.6m KA Koncept - 33cm Seleect pointer Boy that was fun! Went out on the big gear at first with a patchy 10-15kts on & off the plane and pretty flat. Then it started to comein and the chop build a bit. I was coping ok but I wasn't enjoying it and I was worried about it coming in more.. Came in and rerigged the smaller gear. I was a bit worried about it being too patchy and turning SSE to become side offshore. A bit underdone at first. The gusts were great but there weren't enough of them to get upwind well.I was getting back to the launch but I was working all the time and if it turned a bit more east it could have been interesting getting in. I walked it up to the point and took off. Plenty of razorfish around.. It was starting to come in now 15-20kts + and I was having a ball! Boy that combo is comfortable and fun in chop.. Boy it's deceptive.. I thought I was doing long runs but I was only using half the lake! Gybes on the 90ltre started out badly ( not enough practise in chop ) but after getting over the " Oh my god I have to gybe in chop!!!" stuff I just decided do the same as Budgy but go for it more and things improved.. I even got a few slow planing exits.. Hopefully a bit more practise will get me back to enjoying planing gybes on the inside like 2012. Lovely to use a pointer. Valentine used to be my favourite launch pre GPS now I remember why.. Lyds , Jeff , Andrew & I.
