slowly getting a little faster. More wind helps.

The Fangyfins seem to be quite a successful all-rounder, so I thought I would try prospecting with one. This was a fabulous success, and I found a rock almost straight away. However I can't say it was as enjoyable as windsurfing, and after a trip around the handlebars and breaking harness lines etc, I think I will give it a miss in future.

5.4 Koncept, Sonic 85L + FF20

Bit less wind than I expeccted. Was comfortable on the 5.4 so thought I'd try for an hour but dropped a gybe at 25min & couldn't be bothered starting again so just hooned around for a bit.

Had a fun couple of days sailing with the Mob, Slowboat, Shane, Stroppo, Pacey & Lunny Laughing

Great company and another good sail, pleased in starting to gybe this board alittle better.

happy days

Coodanup, WA, AU Fangies, it's a fun place to sale, would love it with 5 to 10 more knots and 10 to 15cm more water, it;s definitely the best NM run in Mandurah. Mistral Speed 55/95 TR16 6.3m (This is a fast powerful sail, but shit at rotating killing my alphs/gybesYell) Pepeweed 20/48 (Pepe the stainless stell leading edge worked brilliantly, hit a rock on my first run, and only minor damage compared to the force of the hit and the usual damage to a full carbon fin)

Yet another fantastic fangy session.

I was still feeling yesterdays effort so went for smaller gear hoping to catch the odd good gust.

5.4koncept, 43cm board, 18cm starboard assy.

This was a delight, I had a few starts that stretched my arms a bit, but apart from that, everything felt light and easy. I was managing my gybes much better, being just nicely powered. Pleased with the speed board alphas, haven't used this board for a while, I forgot how nice it is to gybe in flat water.

I've just got GPSResults doing alpha 500s so There's a slight change in my alpha result, it was a few hundredths higher with the realspeed numbers.

Tricky, I was going to write that a FF hasn't seen this much abuse since your pre-seeding ploughing schedule, but at that stage the red wine and Nurofen hadn't kicked in. Now I am good again :-)

Possibly the worst pun since .... well forever Tongue outLaughing

That's either a very big rock or a very low tide Fang, so happy after a couple of reds you're a-ok mate Cool Me, it was much safer spending the day with my child bride, I'm allergic to sudden stops Laughing

Harsh Sludge, harsh... Tongue outLaughing

I will try and walk out to to the rock next week sometime and place a marker on it if I can't lift it and shift it ashore.
