Melville Beach, WA, AU

Nothing special today, arrived early and could not get too excited. I think it has something to do with the fear of a wipeout due to the lack of water.

FRace 120; 29WS; 7.0

Melville Beach, WA, AU Took a bit of a tour today. Pretty undergunned and had some fun trying not to fall in when the wind died off in the boat wake washing machine with various flotillas of keelboats bearing down on you...and then some fancy windfoiler does a planing gybe right in front of you in like, 5 knots. Geez. :) Top day for a suntan. Taj was ripping out there today, saw some nicely lit bear aways. Me on the usual, 97 futura, 6.6 koncept, 32 nitro then 27ws.

Good fun catching up with the Mandurah Mobsters. I hope I don't wake up with a horse's head in my bed. Fangy's trained crabs gave me the usual welcome. The tide was very low, so only a short drive out to the alpha markers.

JP Supersport 100, NCX 7.0, Delta XT 18.

Beautiful warm conditions out there, not as much wind as expected but did pick-up when we got in. Was having a blast with Crimson Flash... up to Rous and back.  Magic day.

Hard to believe in a city of 2 million people there were 4 of us out between Cott and Leighton??

Location: Cottesloe/Leighton Beach.

Windtech SB 64, 7.0 NP Evo, 35cm Winglet Fin

Launched from Deane St and headed up to Coast south of Leighton. Saw the lighthouse to leighton kiters coming through so timed it well.

Caught a bit of weed so couldn't get a decent NM. Will use a weed fin next time I'm down there. Tomorrow looking good.

Nice breeze and was good to see Windtech turn up for a change!!Foot in mouth

Lightish wind, 125 Rocket, 7.5 Turbo, 33 ws.

Used an old GT31 which split my session in two. Tried to load the second part, which it did, but deleted this first part. So here is the first part again.

Spent the session trying to look out of the gybes on exit, rather than looking at the boom. Maybe getting somewhere after 30 years!

Good to have a chat with Craig.

Of course they're all in Geraldton, thanks Joe. I remember when you would see 50 sailors out in the 80's and 90's and couldn't get parking at Leighton..less populatin in Perth but way more windsurfers.

Oh yes the weed at Leighton today... forgot about that Flash Gordon. Twas a pain...but good fun hey?
