All on my lonesome except for 2 foilers downwind later . I wanted to get out early before the predicted storm front came through. First 1.15hr was a slog fest. I got going a few times but only in the straps once. Felt the drag of the thick foiled fin in the weed ..
Then it came in for 3/4hr and was quite fun..love those flats! The wind was in the flats but there was nothing much over near Buff.
I love the feedback of the watch although I accidently switched it off 3/4 of the way through. I'm wearing a GT31 as well atm so I can compare both. Lucky I had that as backup.
Trying to fine tune my gybes and get rid of a few bad habits..plenty of subplaning gybe practise..
Could have used the 7m - 87 combo for half an hr but I would have missed the wind if I'd gone in to rerig. Fin cut through the weed well once there was enough wind. Came in buggered as the thunder started.
Looks like it kicked in after I left..
