SB Formula 159 SB Carbon foil (115/550/225) Warp 7.0

Awesome foil shesh in light and variable 6-14kts SSW, mostly about 10. Bit of exploring today due to my newly discovered capacity to go, seemingly, almost directly into the wind at times on the foil. Crazy! And I'm hopeless at it! Barely even had a stack in the first hour on the way upwind to Fishing Point! I saved them all for the way home!, my first real attempt at foiling downwind. Very hairy at first, just a bit hairy by the time I got home. Plenty to learn there. I actually did about 40kms but the good ol reliable GW60 couldn't seem to locate any satellites for most of my downwind trip.

Exocet RF91, TRX 7.0, Naish Foil - Wind S 8-15 knots

Surprisingly nice southerly for foiling today.  Tried the small Naish KS1 Kite Front Wing and gained 2 knots of speed compared to the normal big WS1 wing.  Tradeoff was losing some low end in the lulls.  Good fun getting the hang of it.   Mick13b was on his raceboard and Gert on foil/freeride.

Heres the two wings for comparison.

Great speeds Jeff! I thought it would be stronger than that. I'm glad I didn't bother. Can you find a GT31?

Thanks for the pics, Andy! I had a couple of good stacks heading downwind in front of your place. (on purpose, for your entertainmentSealed) Thanks, Sue. It was one of those crappy overcast southerlies that kinda look OK but end up being a non-planing bore-fest. Perfect for foiling!

Hey Jeff, super speed there.  yep it was a bit slower to get going.  I posted up some feedback on seabreeze

Nice speed on the raceboard Mick, you were looking great gliding around.
