Koombana Bay, WA, AU   Fun sesh at K Bay on the foil with Simon and Rob A bit light most of the time but it filled in at the end probabaly should of stayed out longer but never mind I had fun and with great company at a great location

M112, TR16 7.7 & tribal WS 37

LOC 2019 The wind didn't quite fill in as expected but seemed consistent throughout the whole course. Rigged the 7.0 first but after a quick run decided to change up to the 7.7, Felt like I had good speed on the straights just my gybes were slow always struggle to gybe the Mistral in the chop. Still happy with my result taking out the Masters division.

Is that a bigger fin than you usually run in the M112?

I was way under-finned on my M137 and paid the price with bad calf cramps.  Used a 42 weedy and should've been on a 44 or 46 Yell

Cheers guys, yes super stoked on the result. Yes Greg I normally run a 31WS or 33 speed on the M 112 but the 33 felt loose with the 7.0 so I put the 37 on when I changed up to the 7.7. Just found out I’ve broken a few screws in one of the plates in my wrist so I’m booked in for more wrist surgery once again😐 I’ve put it down to the Sunday in Cervantes hanging on to the 8.4 in light conditions trying to pump past pointman in the last leg it’s been sore ever since. Looks like I’m off the water again for while.
