That was a lot of fun, it was a bit light to do a tour de Swan so just blasted around Pelican area. Had a few great runs with Flash, good to see him back.

Melville Beach, WA, AU. Purchased a second hand 6.3 KA race but it came with some broken battens :( Ended up doing a DIY fix using battens from my 6.6 koncept which is totally wrecked and in the bin. Rigged the race on my 430 RDM and it was pretty flat and odd looking? Got home and noticed another broken batten so spent the afternoon sorting that out so that should be right now...I'm sure Boz can give me some rigging tips. I'm using tec cams and might need to add some spacers? Stepping down a size is interesting and the sail feels different to the koncepts, not sure how I feel about it yet. Seems to sneak through the lulls at Melville pretty nicely. Some solid gusts today and no boats around which you would have loved Tim! Boating channels make me nervous more now than ever.97 /6.3 /27 & 32

There appears to be a company producing sunglasses that deter rays. Ingenious idea and could be prety useful for Liptons speed runs.

Melville

2nd Foiling session today, I am not sure if it was because the wind was lighter or I was starting to get the hang of flying but definitely spent more time in the air today. I still did not have the confidence to use the harness and still have the board setup with no footstraps. I managed a couple of gybes but certainly was not flying through them, its amazing how much faster the gybes feel.
