20.9 knots on the Naish foil, must have been just before I hit the sand bar and crashed.

Drops 8'10 KAR 6.3 nice combo really like this board apart from being only 78l amazing how little wind it requires to get going, will be interesting to see what it can do on a good day, a 1995 old school board but can't fault it at the moment.

Big gear and an upwind run to Pt Walter with Scott. Beautiful conditions and had a great time. Not a day for numbers and in the words of Greg  'it's all about the vibe Neil' and that's exactly what it was.

Very light wind, just planing 75% of the time, but better than nothing

125Rocket, 7.5 Turbo, 35 weedy

I just cannot understand how Boz can go out with a small board and 6.4 sail and go so fast in the same light wind conditions as myself, only 65 kilos and on bigger gear. Must be the sailor, never the less - impressive!

Nice foil sesh out of Peli.

Patrik F2 + Slingshot Infinity 76 + 7.4 Koyote.

Made it upwind most of the way to Pt Walter, and my upwind technique has definitely improved.  Coming back downwind was another story Embarassed

It was quite gusty, so I found myself over-powered a few times, and I'm still not sure how to deal with the excess speed/lift when I'm flying downwind.  Quite a few moments when I found myself launching skyward before the inevitable nose dive that follows.  Remarkably the nose on the Patrik is still intact after half a dozen foil sessions Smile

Half way back downwind the breeze crapped out, so the last half hour was a slog home, but I couldn't have handled any more sail today, the 7.4 was plenty.

Good fun. Cool

Caught the best part of the breeze and just enjoyed sailing.

Might be the last sail on the NPs...

More drunk meanderings below - a bit flat today but it's crazy how even tiny bumps have enough power to ride Smile

Chuck, nice speed on the Naish - I heard the sonic boom at Cott Cool
