Lake George, SA, AU Sensational sail, mojo is back, Mistral 95, TR16 6.3m PepeFoil 21/48, posted on KA72 so people can see my tracks and work out where the best speed run is.  I was in my element today, weedy water, finding the best bear away spot then miliking it.  I was in the best spot, and at the right time, when the wind kicked in, one of my best speedsailing sessions ever.

Edit: If you look at KA72 and look at my tracks on google earth you see the angles I was sailing at and compare that with running alomg the Spit, I learnt from my mistake last time.

Lake George, SA, AU

Awsome session, yesterday Jamie said 5.8 day.. so it was.. end of day I could have almost go on 5,4 or changed to the speed board but I cld not be stuffed as  I had so much fun  Cool. At last some SUN and WIND, I enjoyed so much it was hard to stop Tongue out

Started on the RRD, then moved to Herbie.. muck around all arvo between the spit and the weed bank above. Great to catch up and sail with Jamie, at last Red, John, Joe (Mr 40)and his mojo, and Mr Cam.. another crew was here.. the no team crew from VIC, was having sooo much fun Laughing

Happy Daysssss

Nice speeds, Joe. Thanks for pointing out that you had uploaded the tracks, very useful. During the time I had our speedboard, your top speed was about a half a knot faster than mine. Angles were similar, around 140 degrees. You picked up another 3 knots later, possibly because the wind picked up. So I'm not sure how much faster the upwind area really is...
