Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU FF113/GPS7.3/TWS33  Sneaked in an after work sail at the local. That's usually a dodgey proposition here as that's about when the sea breeze cuts outs. Not today though, there was a nice WSW frontal system moving through.  Water was high and choppy but still had lots of fun. Out with Lachy who was doing well and practicing his deep water starts. He was on Xcite Ride 95 and GPX6.0 and clocked 27kts Cool

Fangyland for a cruise with Pas and a few Peskys; Mark, Tim and Anita.

Launched the Barge, FF24 and the big Simmer, put the brain into neutral and just went sailing all over the place. I didn't have any plans,as there was no speeds on offer, so I just sailed on a whim and relaxed. Just another great day to count that the blessings that I live and sail where I do. Great to have a gasbag with the Peskys at the end of a pretty laid back session, even if it was a bit gusty at times.

I did find out the hard way that the spoil bank on the western side of the Yunderup Boat Channel has drifted eastwards over summer. Look out it's shallow!  Yunbas looked fab, with lots of glass as a result of some decent banks of weed still surviving. Posted my results from my Canmore and GPSResults. Hopefully my Motion will be here soon too.

Another fun stomp in the weed, or the littel bits thats left. There is some smooth on the inside run but wind was a bit wrong, too much west.

Went with WTKinetic52, ka kon5.8 and El55/18cm weedfin in skirt....     OH,, and fangman had 2m extra sail than I !!!! ???

Just gybeing in the smooth and the rough.... yeah,  Wink  .

Well done Lachy, you'll have to pinch the good gear off dad one day to see how fast you can go Wink

Ross is Yunbas the bit off to the right, which directions does that work well in?

Morts, Yunbas I reckon WNW through to WSW would be ideal Laughing

Fin, even I had a metre more sail than you. Your efficiency with small sail and small fin is remarkable.
