Wow that was fun. Left the 6.2 at home not expecting much but better than expected with plenty of power on the 7.0

First outing on the crispy new Windtech 64 112 that i couldn't help buy after last weeks blast and it turns out that was my second best ocean hour, only by a smidge and last time was on a 91lt, so best hr on a 112.

It was the usual chop out there and i think the 64 loves to eat it up when backing off the tail trim for a comfier ride.

Thanks Neil, love it!

More wind than expected

Xfire 90, 6.5 2xs, 29 sw

then changed to 105 Rocket to see how it felt compared to the Xfire - less bouncy but slower, as would be expected.

First time in a long while not using a fangy fin. Gusty & choppy challenging sailing and a good workout.

I did not go for any speed runs today, just practiced gybes and I am pleased to say I came out of all of them dry even though the wind was stronger and the water choppier than I have been sailing in of late. I am getting braver and didn't chicken out of any gybes today (I probably would have chickened out, earlier in the season). I came out of one gybe planing, but unfortunately I was heading right for the shallow water poles so I had to change my line and slowed down a lot.

Called it a day early to save some energy for later in the weekend.

Not an epic day but still good to get out.

Nice chat with the few people who were around, obviously most people have gone away for the weekend as the parking lot was empty

Pat92; OD 7.0; Tribal 27 then tried the speedster

Fun session started on the Drops best speeds on this board, got to try out a 47 Mistral such a nice board I want oneLaughing then a Tiga 257 wave just what the doctor ordered for those balistic dutchies days. Good to see Anita having fun and a chin wag with Tailwind

Drops 8'10" KAR 6.3

A gusty river session, should have rigged the 7m on the SilverBullet 64 but it was just ok on the 6.3m and 57 Bullet . Lots of boats and fairly choppy.  I tend to swear and shout loudly when they're in my way... wonder if they can hear me?

Great ocean hour, Craig, glad you had fun! I imagine it would have been pretty lively out there today

Lunny grabs 5 out of 6 jellybeans with a fast ocean session, with good hour and distance backup from Windtech, and a handy nm too!

Well done Boz, with a handy alpha backup and setting the pace with 5X 10.

Great to see you getting some miles in Anita. It definitely helps to sail regularly!
