A quick sail in a westerly. Wind was very on/off with the 6.2 being nicely powered in the rain squalls. JJ and Ricey didnt look too enthusiastic as i was packing up.

Wow, arrived to 25 knot gusts with big lulls and wondered whether to sail
Decided, after talking to Grant for some time, to rig 125 Rockett, 6.0 Gator, 33 sw.
Grant went home. I had a very gentle sail, plenty of dogging along and a few nice flat water runs. I kept looking out for big squalls which decided not to eventuate.
Worth it in the end, if only for not chickening out.
Ken was leaving as I started, he had some well powered runs.
JJ was rigging his foil, but I did not see him while sailing

If variety is the spice of life I am a hot curry this month! 6 sessions in 6 different locations - Safety Bay, Coodanup, Melville, Augusta, Glory Holes, Yunbas. Where will my next session be? Six sessions in April is a record for me for a start, and we are only half way through the month - last year I managed only one session in April, and five is the usual.
Yunbas is a new location that I have never sailed before, so it wasn't a spot I wanted to sail alone. Boz and Woody were supposed to be there but had left by the time I arrived. Luckily Fangy came steaming into view and agreed to keep sailing to keep me company, or was it me keeping him company? A bit of both at first but later Fangy was looking very tired and was struggling in the lighter wind and was glad of an excuse to stop when a big squall came over. Thanks for making the effort to keep going to keep me company Fangy, I appreciate it.
A fun location, better with a bit less tide and more west than southwest. I am sure I will be back now that I know exactly where to go.

Arrived to meet Boz and a gusty westerly with high water. Expecting a decent blow so rigged the Vapor 6.4 and went out on the Manta 61 with a CL delta 20. Fangy arrived soon after expecting to sail solo. The wind was strongest on the 1st run so Boz and I headed about 2-3 km to Austin Bay. Within 500m coming back the wind dropped to 5-10knots so we stood waiting in the weed for the wind to take us back. it picked up half an hour later to about 15 knots so Yunderup didnt quite deliver. Headed to Coods which was gusty and 15-18 knots. Good to chat with Dave, Fin and Stroppo. Too gusty for an hour and too choppy for decent speed. A fun session with Boz.

Bit of fun going to SY never been there before, woody arrived 5 minutes after me and we decided to give it a go, went with the big board RRD108 just to suss out the area a couple of runs and decided to change to the Drops, low and behold there is Fangy looking very lost and with no friends in sight, he did mention non of the Mob wanted to sail with him and really felt sorry for the big fella, that lasted about a second and off woody and me went to Boombas. Nice squal hit us on the way with some hairy moments but arrived in one piece. Trouble is the wind started to die so started making our way back and probably got about 1k when the wind shut down for about 30 minutes, bit of a chin wag waiting for wind eventually booted in and kept sailing. Wind looked as if it was swinging so executive decision to make our way to Coods. Nice sail there as well probably not as strong with the wind but still heaps of fun, even the big fella Strop paid a visit mainly chin wagging no sailing.
Anita sorry we missed you and great that you kept Fangy company same cannot be said for the Mob, wonder why they have shunned poor Fangy he's not that bad.
