Souwester with gustbusters and speedsters, sadly it died off early but a fun sail today. Good news is Captain got rid of the rule book from 2017/18 and is drawing up a new rule book for team members. Even better news there is a new Polony arrival which should see a new gustbuster team member signing up in due course. Craig Cole deserves the early bird award today, way before I'd even woken up he was filing wind reports from the waters edge

Primbee, NSW, AU in two minds about heading up to primbee today but decided to head up as i had a special delivery CA44 for CC .

CC had 36+ on the dial when i arrived and Dezza was rigging a 6.2 and ca54, after recieving a message from Nigel  the marine rescue at port kemba announced strong winds 30 to 45nts i rigged the 5.5 and 60lt JP 50 , as it turned out the wind didnt get to 25nts but mannabed a 34 on the dial

decided to take the CA44 for a run while it was still my board with the 5.5 , CC was coming in while i was heading out , as i was heading back in and sailed past him he yelled out hey thats my board , i was thinking not any more it aint Tongue out these boards are a perfect primbee board quick to plane and eats chop, after derigging and standing around compareing boards with Dezza CC said well who's van is the board going home in Cry

A very early start but well worth it!!!.Not as much wind as later in the day but the flatest ive seen primbee for years.

Awesome to see dezza, the captain and TP after such a dry spell on the wind turning up on my day off.

enjoyed a few drag races with dezza cheers for that.

thank you captain for my free CA44

even if the wind didnt come the car park banter was worth the trip

Nice bash on a fresh SSW with Gusties Dezza, Craig and the Captain along a great turnout from both the windsurfing and kitesurfing community. Unfortunately the breeze dropped off as some additional rain came through. Besides, it was visiting time for my grandson (born this morning at 7:10am) at Wollongong Hospital.
