Got there and it was 13 degrees , overcast with c 5-10kts of wind..Why did I drive an hr for this?  Decided to rig and go out anyway. Started off the plane but kicked in a bit before a rain shower and I got some pleasant runs across.

I was hoping for a SW for long runs so I was a bit disappointed in a WSW . Hard work trying to keep upwind . By myself for the first hr , hardwork and realised how unfit I was sailing for an hr.

It was hardwork to get planing and you had to work at it to keep going. Loved using the FF after a long gap.

 Pete came out. he suggested I move the mastfoot right forward. I usually run it 1cm from the back and he had it 1cm from the front. I didn't think it would work but it made a lot of difference in the marginal conditions. I could get upwind and it was much more fun.

Probably the most 'consistent ' wind I've sailed for a while.

Great foil in between rain but bloody cold , Nice to get some steady breeze to dial in new gear.
