Quick dash after work on a borrowed Isonic 96 [thanks Jez] and Koncept 6.6. Flew off the beach at Melville, took the back hand off to add a little outhaul and came a big cropper as the harness line broke at about 30 knots. Took some bark off the chin etc! Replaced that and went up to Pt Walter to see a SRM convention. - 7 out of 9 is some sort of record! Wind a bit light on and felt a little underfinned [falcon 33] on the wide tail IS 96 but good to try some new mid size boards.

hmmmmmmm......... why havent i sailed point walter properly before????????? Sweet day there compared to yesterday, getting to know the run a bit better. enough wind this time to use 5.8rsr/missile S/JPsl30@35. really sweet combo... as i think snides noticed. last run was the fastest, and i think there might have been a bit more to come as the wind got a bit more angle, but had to leave... work early tomorrow. stoked to see these numbers without a drive to mandurah.

great days sail with a few crew at walter 18-22kn and the river was pretty tame for chop.sailed up with Chris A and had to line up for some runs with a bit of a crowd at walter (seems like yoyo has blown the lid on this spot ;) used the ca sp50,kon 5.8.f1 28 was a good combo for river cruising but could of used the 44 at walter.the 2 sec peak was from Tims set up on 1 run,his gear felt awesome.. lots of grunt from the rs and the missile felt nice and free on the water. sailed back to peli and noticed the wind had picked up!...bugger..great to be on the water all the same with lots of sailors with gps strapped on!

Sailed up from Peli Pt to Pt Walter with Snides on my absolute favourite combo; Koncept 5.8, Falcon 30 & Tabou Manta 59. Great to see a big crowd at Pt Wally including most of Team SRM. It was unusually weedy up there and was undercooked with the 5.8, but had an awesomely fun sail on the way back through the open water, and also chasing the quick Rotto ferry down a bit earlier. The Manta just eats open water chop effortlessly, and combined with the Koncept, I just had a grin from ear to ear fanging down through the clean lined up swells on the best part of the river down off the end of Peli Pt. Sorry to go on but I just loved today, and if you are reading this then I'm sure you know that feeling!

Point Walter with Isonic 86, 6.7 & 29cm F1, managed to catch one good gust and picking up weed on every run, great to see most of SRM team out at the same spot.
