So the season begins..................

great to be out in the bay after a LONG winter. Felt like summer today and the wind was perfect.

Solo run until Dave showed up and put me to shame (Again) Brushed off a few cobwebs and had a few dips to cool me off.

Used the trusty Starboard Ultrasonic and Neil Pryde V8 7.7.

Sneaky shesh with Drew. Lucky to knockoff work early to collect new house keys (finally) and coincidently it was windy. Drew made me do it cos I couldnt let him go out without someone backing him up.

Been a while since we've been on big kit like this and it was great. I had a couple of almost oopsy incidents but in the end no probs all all. I still cant plane thru a gybe with any regularity on this board but have just challenged myself for this summer! I was great to see Drew on the water and frankly its a wonder that he remembers how to get his kit shakin! I did take the fashion lead from him and wore my best boardies for the first summery arvo sea breeze. And it wasnt cold either. Water was beautifully flat and some really unusual swells were rolling in over the sand bars, i would have got air if i was faster or on my 125 lol! or a bit of foil swell riding.

All in all a great season opener.

Looks like it was a great run down the coast. Drew as far as the holy mile! Noice

Great distance from Drew, at that rate he should pip Dave for a position on the kingdom at KA72!

nice numbers from both of you guys but whats with the alphas?? both zero?

near 27 knots on the US is a good run for sure Captain Capitalist (new home and all)

Just waiting for Dennis's numbers, he was out til well after sunset!
