Five weeks ago I hit a submerged log in the shallows at slow speed, and dinged the underside of my board.

Today, on a different board, I dinged the underside of this board too. Have to get the glass and epoxy out again tomorrow. At least it wasn't at high speed which would have been scary. It is like Russian Roulette in the shallows at the moment.

Best 2 sec and 5x10 speeds as well as NM and 100m for the year, I felt good out there today, everything was balanced nicely.

Plenty of others out having fun. Nice to see you all.

Bad luck Pugs who hit something and dinged his bottom and Alwyn who tried out his new booties but forgot to adjust the footstraps to allow for the extra thickness. An old trap for young players but Al is not a young player so it was plain bad luck.

Those who launched from Peel St had a long walk out to the windline and a long walk back in today. Bugger..........

Launching from Buff made it easy to get to the weed bank, but not much fun getting back.

Lots of problems with forearm pain, fin letting go in the chop and running aground on eastern shore.
