Stretch (30716km):
1755 days ago 2 categories Leschenault, WA, AU. FF89/CA47, SCR6.3 Poorly executed battle plan today, a case of being in wrong place at the right time. I should have launched from Buffalo Rd, but after some decidedly dangerous attempts at speed down near Belvedere, I decided to work my way up to the Buffalo Rd speed run, wind was good and a 40 was definitely on the cards. By the time I got there the wind had dropped, then came the rain. Didnt get a single run in, just got cold. Then the wind swung westerly and came in strong, so Dave and I made a beeline back to the now flooded carpark. New sail went well, but I still need to fine tune my rigging. After a long stretch of no wind, it was still good to get out with Dave and Steve from Busso
Im still convinced Buffalo Rd will deliver some good runs, just need to time the conditions right. Speed board was no advantage today, I should have stuck with the Falcon 89, but maybe swapped the TWS29 for a 25
