Clifton Beach, QLD, AU Quick sail off the beach after lunch .Rigged the Iso 107 /North Warp 7.7 /Tribal SW 33.Plenty of wind out wide but the usual rough as guts channel crossing & today not so smooth water on the Reef flats of double island .Cool

A good work out ...!!!.Really had to concentrate.Still  lots of debris floating around...Surprised

Holloways Beach QLD. Sailed with with Gary in off and on conditions. One good run ended with a catapult  and a huge lump behind my ear, so called it quits then. Isonic 120, 6.7 Overdrive, 43 alloy blade.

Yes I'm still alive!  Geez it felt good to get a sail in albeit wind a bit light for this combo.  Got a couple okay gusts but not much there to bear away.

Green Island, QLD, AU

Fun session sailing with Ed & Boxy in our beautiful Tropical waters.  Nice strong winds and a neap tide which ended up being a little too low to hang out on the drag strip-  I give myself a 2/10 for thinking the water level may be ok there, another 30cm would have been nice.  Didn't even chance it as I wasn't in the mood for broken gear...

So ended up sailing out wider in more choppy conditions predominately in the aqua waters.  Tailed Ed around a bit- have to say big Kudos given to Ed.   For a bloke with a sore body, it was a blood good effort!  Boxy seemed to have some fun, albeit way over powered with his 7m Severne Gator sail- I think Boxy got a couple of PB's which is great!

A little progression for me today having my front foot in the straps for quite alot of the session.  Bit disappointed with the NM- needed longer runs...  Had some spin outs with the Sabre fin, a few tails walks and one slam dunk which sorted me out momentarily.  Tried some downwinders without really lighting it up- felt I could have got a lot more out of the rig in some smoother water.

All in all, a good training session had.  Used Futura 122, Severne Convert 6.7 BP Sabre 42.5

Green Island, QLD, AU Rough and windy session at Gi with Benny and Boxy..Wasn't enough water and to much weed for me to get on the drag strip..Still carrying some  rather serious injuries from last weeks total wipe out..played longer than i should of out on the big pool, was surprised how rough it was had to stay totaly locked in the whole time, Board felt good but took a real beating  with 6.6m North rig in full crank down mode...Burnt out 97isonic has got a big stress crack in deck again and GPS has water in it..think its rooted..Young Boxy gave it his best shot trying hard to hang onto a big rig think he got some PBs for his effort..Benny sailed like a real pro today and may get a PB as well..good effort by both of them..Dropped in to Fourmile Beach on the way home and saw Andrew and his' charming wife' think he had a Epic session to day as well...IF anyone has got a GPS forsale for not to much cash let me know..CHeers Ed

Great to see you post again Saus...!!!

Nice Pbs again Benny -neap tides means small fins are in order -check out the BP Kestrels -a 24 would work well in that size futura & it means all of that nice water isnt going to waste ...Smile

Snags on the water too - Great to see, I was sure I had seen that he had lost 30 Newspolls in a row, when respondents were asked about preferred FNQ BBQ packs.Foot in mouthLaughing
