Green Island,QLD.

Fun session at the Island with Bindy, Binny, Billy and Boxy.

Wind had a lot of East making the run nice and choppy and then tide was a little low to get up above the Island, but a nice 25 to 30 made for a very exiting at times day!

Used 2017 isonic 80, Overdrive R8 6.2 and Tribal SW 23Cool

Green Island, QLD, AU

Arrghhh...original write up deleted. Forgot to log myself out when loading Boxy's data.

A very scratchy day on the Island yesterday, although very invigorating. Kel, Bindy, Binny and Boxhead for play mates. 20-25 kts turned into 25-30 with some stronger fronts turning the water white. It was honking....

Used B2's BP Kestral24 today. Just enough water to start of with until Midday to rip across the flats, although a very limited period, it was very much Fangyland inspired sailing. The weed beds really did do the business, then it was out to the eatern speed run for the arvo session chasing the guns. Kel and Binny were smashing it...awesome to watch.

Used: CASL 108, 6.5T4, BP Kestral24

Good to catch up with some of the Mob. Tried to blow of some cobwebs as its been 2 years off the water. Old and not fit. Good to get wet.

Palm Cove, QLD, AU

Snuck in a short average sail off Palm Cove with the kiters while the wife was wining and dining for a girls lunch at NuNus.  Caught up with Ed, who was on Market/Kid duties, for a quick chat before taking to the water.

Strong wind, particularly between 2:30-3:30pm, and rough as guts...  Sailed over to Double Island where the water really flattens out over the reef.  Just not quite enough water over it today to risk the fin- glad I wore my booties...  Saw loads of turtles on the reef!

Was a bit of a battle from the start trying to get further upwind after my first run in the ugly sea.  Pulled up sore after yesterday's wipeout which didn't help the cause...

I am reckoning the crew would have had an absolute ball sailing off Green Island today!  Hope the crew at Kurrimine got in a good sail also!

Used 135 Exocet 6.7 Severne Convert 47.5 BP

Kurrimine Beach, QLD, AU

Mid day sail at Kurrumine with James, Curl, Sharon, Fred, Nathen, Mandy and Ross. A great turnout. Sailed two sessions a morning and this mid day session. broke a universal on the last run in from the waves at the southen end of the beach but no further dammage.  Nice to see Herby for a chat.

Wind a bit stronger to day

Assuming you have the clip uploaded to YouTube, Start playing your clip on youtube and go to your browser bar at the top of the screen and copy the entire Youtube address. Then click on the filmstrip icon in 'GPSTC Post new comment'  Copy the entire Youtube address into the second box titled 'File/URL'  Then click insert at the bottom of the page.

You may see just a yellow blank screen, but hit 'post' anyway. Now go back to GPSTC home, then navigate to your post and you should see the clip :-)
