iS90, 7.0RBlade, 30 Tribal Sl - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU ESE 18-23kn

The moguls were incredibly vicious this afternoon and with wind having slightly more south in it than east it made for some hard going.  Lots of fin slippage at speed just going too broad trying to miss some wicked cross chop and wave peaks.  Arms gave out pretty quickly so called it quits.

Good to see you sailing again Snagz, the iSo90 what model?  I have the 2013 Wood, and find it fabulous in estuary choppy conditions, but wasnt great on pert phillip bay chop?  So depending on the chop, no board aother than maybe a high rockered wave board is any good?

Cheers Hardie.  I think its a 2014 model - the first one with the radical tail cutout.  it's fast but unforgiving and your body knows its been riding it after a sail.  Not the greatest pointing board unlike the 2012 iS97, but send it broad and it feels good.  I have actually been riding my modified 2001 JP FSW 103 litre when it gets too rough - whilst slower it feels like you're on a cushion of air in lieu of the F1 suspension of the iSonics.
