Sellicks Bogan (7203km): good turn out at boggy today, a few learners and the usual suspects Trousers,Leon Darren Jacko etc actually had fun on the 136 super sport with a 44 choco fin and 7 mtr overdrive, didnt turn on too much speed got pretty bumpy later in the day.
Trousers (14352km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU Good blast at the local with the usual Demons in attendence, but also a handful of beginners. Tough conditions today, Wednesday was better. Up to 20kts but gusting low as well, oscillating between due W/WNW. I planed the whole time starting with the 100l Manta, OD 6.2m and my S09 35cm, but after an hour changed down to the 79l Fanatic and used a S09 29 of Leons. The direction stired up a lot of chop so and I didn't find many opportunities to unleash it. But still a lot of fun, until I got pile-driven into the sail! Lost control and pulted over the top - sail hits the water and stops. I'm speared helmet first into the sail with a big crunch somewhere at the top of the spine as all my entire weight came down on my neck. I've been having some spectacular dismounts on this board! Surprisingly, I feel alright now. Sail didn't have a dent, the water on the other side cushioned I guess. Might feel that one tomorrow morning! :)
