Isonic 107 Reflex 7.0 Canefire 38

After squeezing out a 33 yesterday I thought that this is all this board had to give Surprised I was wrong 34.25 on the dial until it was harshly realspeeded to under 34.

Oh well looks like I've got to give it a few more beans to crack a proper 34

Pelican Point, ISO107, OD7.5, FO42 CF38.

Knackered.

What a day. Was going to meet Obi in Manbro mob territory but unsure of wind so ended up at Peli. Dogged for a couple of runs till the breeze kicked in. Was on the 7.5 all day so can hardly lift my arms now. Love this sail never felt overpowered despite the strengh of the wind.Tongue out

If I didn't stop my session to rescue an abandoned kite from the middle of the river I might have got a distance PB as well. They better be grateful.

Went for 1 NM run but was a bit underpowered for most and timed it just as a ferry and about 4 other boats crossed my path, made for a wild downwind ride through the washing machine. PB by 0.01kns.

Starting to handle this bearaway through chop thing quite well now.

Melville Beach, WA, AU, iSonic 111, Reflex 7.0, Sting 38

I had done about 100 meters, and then my mast snapped in two Yell. Fortunately there was no damage to my sail. I had to rig down to a 7.0 on my 430 mast. This sail was on the small side most of the time. The wind had a few holes too.

Oh come on Raygun, these constant PB's are getting a bit monotonous...

Just kidding! Well done! You're just going from great to better!

Nauli, the mast was a severne red line 460. It snapped right above the boom. Not sure what happened: boom clamp too tight? straight from a baking hot car to full load on the water? Or just wear and tear? If anyone has a matching spare bottom half laying around, I am interested. Ray gun, well done on another PB. Keep'em coming.
