Lynfield run Auckland NZ.

Bigworld Speed 54, Bigworld 26 fin, KA 5.0 Koncept.

Great day at Lynfield with Martin and Bruce and also good to meet with David and Trent.

The run into the course was initially very rough which meant having to go straight for the bank Foot in mouthand turn alot sharper than normal to start the run. Was well powered up down the run and knew the last run of the day was good when the vision blurred due to the chop. A lower tide would have worked better in smoothing out the water but not complaining with the results!

Big thanks to everyone including the kiters for making room for those on-course and keeping it safe Cool

Naish Titan 110, Select 31, Simmer Crossover 5.3m.

A good blow and lots of people out. Rig felt good in the lulls but a sub 5m sail would have been more comfortable.

@ Martin - if youhad waited about another 3/4 hour the run in got a little less gnarly. (Nearly got pulled over the front once or twice on the course with the gusts tho....)

@ Mike - you bet! - we would rapped to see you guys come for a visit - I have a Torckler 44 speed board with your name on it if you need a ride! (rental is some pointers on how to do those gybes you guys are so good at!)Smile

Good on yu Chris,

Myself was a little indisposed off, riding out the cyclone between Great Barrier Island & Cape Colville the night before.

Never thought in a lifetime I would ever have to ride out a cyclone in N.Z waters in a big boat.
