Old Salty (4921km):  6 categories       Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU Carbon Art 53, Koncept 5.8, Tribal 34 NW 5 - 28 kts Wild Had to get wet been 6 weeks. Impossible to sail no wonder no one else out. Desperate and dateless I guess everyone else warmed them selves by the fire. Water was a bit chilly when you fell in backwards because the wind went from 25 to 0 in 20 mtrs Was fun and good to challenge myself in very trying conditions | ||||||||||||||||||
Ash (14526km):  6 categories Swan Bay, VIC, AU Patrik 92, Reflex5 6.2, Tribal delta 20 Good to get out for sail. Wind W-NW 15-30 knt, gusts 25-40 knt. More west than expected. High tide 8:30am, low 2:00pm. Shallow areas as usual at Swan Bay, but happy with first time out using 20cm Tribal delta. At times wind was too strong for 6.2. Travelled Sunday, hoping for a sail in the arvo, but not enough wind. One other windsurfer out, good to meet keen beginner Alan from Point Lonsdale. Stopped to eat and post at Geelong on way home back up the Hume Hwy. | ||||||||||||||||||
