Kurnell 20-25 knots NW

I was considering heading down to Illawarra nad had the early alarms set, but the wind didn't look any good on the 5, 6, 7 & 8am updates so I bailed on the idea. Kurnell started looking good around 10ish so I headed down. The kiters were loitering just off the beach, so I gave myself some space and headed up to Towra.

jp 90 / rs MKiv slalom 5.5 / 21 MFC Delta

The lake was a good 5-10 cm shallow than a few weeks ago making for some scary momemtns when you can feel the fin clipping things at 30 knots.

Made gybing really hard as you couldnt sink the tail at all.

very gusty confitions with some big bullets coming thru. had some of the most perfect patches of flat water ive ever sailed in (damn shallow tho)

First time ive broken 35 on the JP 90 Smile think im starting to get better at bearing away.

Foreshore Drive WNW 10-18 knots

JP Slalom Pro IX 66  North Warp F2013 7.8  Tectonics T-43 40

Gusty and flat. It was nice to have a sail after 4 weeks of nil.

Not so good for speed today more about staying on the plain and gybing.

Had one nice run though.

Great speeds and fantastic PB Craig though Primbee sounds a bit dangerous now for windsurfing.

Only once when gybing ,when i stood up it was only 20 cm deep ,lucky i only had a 19 cm fin, didn't break it there it sheared the pins of one arm earlier in the session.
