Beautiful sunny southerly at Marmong.  Always great to get a 30, a sweet alpha, and sail with lots of mates.  Thanks to my lovely wife for the leave pass, even though it meant she had to drag two kids through the local farmers market 

Really great sail perfectly powered on a 100l JP freestyle 6.2 Atlas went for fun not speed today and had a great time. Wind picked up at 3 and I didn't have time to change down so cut it a little short. Great to get out 2 days in a row, been a long time.

Good sail! Chop 6" at times but there was a flat 100m + spot you could bear away in.  I can generally correct the board now when it does it's diagonal thingy as I bear off.I just weight the front foot more and it comes good 90% of the time. A few ok gybes. GPS said 28.1kts.

 Rig came undone from the board after a gybe once .Luckily I was near the shore so I went ashore and fixed it. Lucky it happened at Canton and not Coal or Valentine as then it would have been a real drama.

Ray , Pete , Pugsly ,Frothie ( met 1st time) Bill and Moby. Mick turned up later. At one time it was only Moby & I out. Must be Xmas as it was a great wind + angle  so I expected the place to be crowded.

Pugsly has pursuaded me to upgrade the 95ltre to something a bit faster - just got to find a RS slalom for the right price now! ( + have a go on his next time). Bearing away better lately.

 I can't often get a sail at the weekend but my partner was going crewing on a yacht so I got to sailboard

Exocet 105 Gaastra GTR 7.0

First real sail on the 105 litre. At 67 wide a big come down from a 100 formula board.

Went OK till the wind picked up and a 6 would have been better but had coffee and bickies instead. Good move as the wind dropped right off.

Half an hour and it was back so went out again but didnt last long.

Dont know how Tibor Bruce Barry Cluffy and Nick sailed formula. Some of the waves looked like they had come all the way from Hawaii.

Good to see a good turn out of guys on short boards too.

Back on the water after weeks off from injuries ie,knee strain and leg infection from last catapult. My lucky day 

yesterday as i picked rig up to enter the water, the uni tendon broke. Wow. What a great reminder to do an auto 

replacement of these things every year.. or two.!! SSW 15-20+.Tibor, Bruce,Nick Baz and Lyndon went out on formula gear.

Great practise without the fun element.. and the water was rough.
