Coal Point, NSW, AU. 5.6 Hucker 110 then 93 Naish. Sweet arvo of sailing. Heaps of "new" faces out, didn't know many of them. Good to see Walshy out on his new gear. Looked crazy fast. Missed you Andy, tell me you weren't running somewhere

Coal Point, NSW, AU

Exocet RS2, s2 venom 7m then 6.3m, select v max 33 and 31

well decided to have a crack at the 1 hr and just go for it. weed and the chop/swell was massive so very hard puting the foot down in terrible conditions but heaps of fun doing a down winder then working back up. my jybing was terrible it was survival to stay on had many very close moments of destruction but realy enjoyed it and I know definately can do better as I was stuffed before I started.

congrates to all who did the hr of power I had a crack Kaleb but a 27 thats just very impresive well done champion.

10-19kts ENE Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

 7.5m GT turbo - RS4 ( 111) - 38cms BP 50 weed speed

 7m NCX - 87 isonic ...

Rather unsatisfying session and I wasn't feeling well.

I'd played around and got the go pro etc working well at home but add a real session , water , etc and things went pear shaped..Undecided

I has a few issues with buttons not working and it not switching off..I'm not sure how much is a user issue and how much is a possibly faulty device.. I'll take it back today and let them have a look..

Anyway I  rigged big as it was saying 10-12kts and didn't look much.. By the time I'd stuffed around setting up the go pro Bill was coming in and suggested my setup might be  too big..Undecided .. ( Mick was flying on his 7m..Undecided ) I couldn't be bothered changing so I went out and so I perservered for a while and then came in for the smaller kit and to try and get the go pro working again ( the screen had seized up)..

I'd missed the best of it as it was patchy once I got back out. The 2 sec etc is on the big kit..Stopped a bit playing around with the camera.

Well at least it took some video..I suppose things will streamline the more  I  do it..Smile

Milsy , Mick , Matt , Wayne , the youngens, Pete(?), Norm, Nathan and assorted other bods..

Congrats on the PB Byron, that's one awesome crack and well planned to make the most of whats on offer.  Nice to see you working hard for your numbers, none of this easy flat water stuff Wink.  Cheers mate, but those WA boys have got me worried with a couple of windy days coming this week.  This one hour comp has certainly brought out the best in a lot of sailors CoolSmile
