Last weeks Nudee Taxi ride and I have given up on using cam sails in shiftng winds in the middle of the lake. Water a bit higher today, from the log. OK. 20 fin. bushfire (26346km):  Kanahooka, NSW, AU NE , up to 20 knots - gusty FOIL Matt & I arrived to see Chris flying around in the gusty conditions and we both decided to go for the 6.2m sails. I figured it was a good chance to try out the Ultra foil config as well - small wings and fuse. It was probably pretty difficult foil conditions anyway but I struggled to get balanced on the Ultra - a lot of porpoising. Things got a bit smoother after my normal "first half hour hoplessness", but I found it hard to extract the supposed extra pace. I suspect it has to be windier for this foil to shine.
