After having spent an hour at Wello in two to six knot wind practising my slow gybes, Pierre brought some wind out with him and I was planing on Waterloo Bay between Wello and Lota for over an hour with Pierre, Mark, Mike and Julien. I might have bettered my hour PB if I hadn't fallen in, in the windshadow of King Island and didn't manage to get on the plane for over five minutes.
