Melville Beach, WA, AU Finally a sail, been a while. Reflex 4, 7.8, Mistral 112, CL2 35. Perfect rig for gusty, swirly winds.

What great fun that was after a pretty hot, frustrating week 

Played chasie with "OMS" (got reamed for mentioning his real nickname) for a while & could not win

RRD Firestorm 101L with 7.5M T-bird & 40 EX Vector.

Changed down to the 36 EX after trying a new 21 cm Fugly Black Project Anchor.

Sailed most of the day overpowered but in control, without speed 

Late in the day I grabbed Annies 6.5M T-bird & gained 3 knots & a whole lot of comfort

Best day out in ages 

7.8m Lightning/105 XF 38 CF - then - 7m Lightning/98 XF, 36 CV

Picked the wrong day to set up the new 105.  Just couldnt get it right. Switched to the 98 (which I should have started on) and rigged the 7 (when I should have gone to 6.4).

Anyway good to get away from work and into the weekend.
