2140 days ago Wellington Point, QLD, AU. 80, 6.3warp 31BPWS. Great sail on the eastern side of the bank and feeling fantastic to be back on the water. Got out early with Jayson and Mike. I put a buoy out to monitor the water depth and it also provided a safe jybe mark, which all the others seemed to do better on than me. LOL.
This was my first sail after a very nasty catapult in mid May at VP. At VP I did not realise I was over the bank, hit bottom, came to a dead stop and got hit hard (by something..boom?..fin?) just below the knee and then again along the shin which was opened up (and I had a wetsuit on!) so it took a while to heal.

2140 days ago Recon mission to Lake Wooloweyah near Yamba, NSW, AU
Got there a couple hours too late. I jumped out of the car and measured 27 kt gusts. As I was rigging I could tell it was dropping. Managed a few runs before the wind switched off to 10 kts or so. Took the sup out and sailed up towards the big lake. Unfortunatley as soon as I entered the main lake it started to glass out so I played it safe and sailed back watching the sun set. The east end of the lake is shallow, mostly knee to chest deep, the bottom is very soft. Only saw rocks near the shoreline. It definitely has potential just need to go back and see what the westerlies blow like there. From the time I got there, rigged, sailed, de rigged, I didn't see another human being. Its a huge lake, I reckon on a NW wind you could do almost 9k runs.
