Freddy Burke (12114km): Holloways with Ian and Billy. Ian was/had been on the water for about 30 minutes before I got there. Wind was a little on the light side initially but came in nicely towards the end of the session. Good to see Ian on the water again and Billy sailed well towards the end of the session. Great session ....for a long time a Holloways. RRD 102 X-FIRE, KOYOTE 7.2,STING 38 | ||||||||||||||||||
Billy (10637km): Holloways Beach, QLD, AU How lucky are we. Middle of June and the 3 of us just sailed, open ocean in BOARD SHORTS. What a sensational day and throughly glad I did it with my mates. The other Doc, Dr Ian Bally(esq) graced us with his company today and had already eaten his jelly beans when I arrived and was way out on the horizon chasing the white specks. Fred managed to talk the Handbrake into letting me have the afternoon off from painting which was particuarly good work (even if I do say so myself - he didnt really, I just used his heart attack last year as an excuse. Couldnt let the vunerable old bugger sail on his own, could I !!!) so of we toddled. Looked like a dredge again out to the wind line on arrival. Cant wait for the day we actually get to plane straight of the beach. Pretty flat today, by Holloways standards and just a real noice winters sail. Touch stonger out wide. By out wide, im talking halfway to Arlington. Managed to get the last of the solid breeze all the way to the beach on the way in which was a real surprise. Id make a call and say that was a pretty solid entry into a Top Ten Holloways sail. Used: 125 Blue Bludger, 7.3 2012 HSM GPS, S10 47 - was my old 49. But its been re jigged.

Ian (2269km): Holloways Beach, QLD, AU great afternoon with Billy and Ferd at Holloways. Generally light winds with heaps of holes where i dropped of the plane. But on the upsied it was relatively flat for holloways. By the time the wind freshend i had used all my energy . Well done billy for the 28.1 on the blue bludger. that is the fasest it has been for many a year |
