Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU

not a bad day at the local.

spent lots of time faffing about with fins and a few board swaps.

started out on the 102 rrd x fire with a 23 muf delta

switched to the 95 mistral speed with a pepefoils 48 degree weedy( the same as hardies secret weapon i think)

got the peak and nautie on that.

then switched back to the x fire but with a 29 ufo weedy when the tide came in a bit and it got a tad choppy.

used a 6.2 severne R6 overdrive on both boards.

Novara Beach, WA, AU

Had a nice swim at the beach this morning with my child bride and the wind came in about 15knts, hmm thought about going to Blue Bay but by the time I settled in at home I was thinking bugger it. Slug rang and next thing I'm off to Novara, big thanks mate.

I can never work out what the winds doing, thought it looked like cruising time so went for the 6.6. Wow first couple of runs was hang on tight as it was a lot stronger, then it dropped a bit so all good and then a bit more so I did a nice cruise to the platform and back and then that was it, goneski. That was that but in the end a great little sesssion and great to catch up with Slug, Strop, Shane and a couple of others.

95L Gladiator, 32 Powermax, 6.6 Koncept, boardies, forgot helmet and fun fun fun

Novara Beach, WA, AU

with Bob, Shane and Strop.

To slap or not to slap that is the question..

Wind was gusty water was choppy and I really struggled, i have to face it i was pretty lost as what to do in the chop. Bob however made it look easy flying off towards the middle of the estuary with a big smile on the dial in good control. Just last week though I foiled here with Strop on a small sail and just flew over the chop in very similar conditions. Now do i need to learn more skills in the chop or just fly over it?

either way Its a great dilema Wink

nice going today bob.

Thanks Mike for repairing my and Pepes watch, thanks pepe for allowing me to use it.. still water tightCool
