1806 days ago Liptons and Point Grey, My guess was that point grey was the place today and I guessed wrong, Twas uninspiring conditions, so lost motivation very quickly, winter sailing not my fave form of windsurfing, I cant see myself doing a lot of it in Mandurah this year. I will going to Dampier for the majority of my winter sailing this year, I hope to spend all July part Sept and all Oct in Dampier. Mistral Speed 95/55 (Anyone wanna do a swap? Looking for a smaller speed board around 70 to 80litres, 50 to 54cm wide??) TrXI 5.9m Pepeweed 23.5/48

Wind was a bit hit and miss but was still planing most of the time. A good roll up too, with Lachy, Rat, Busso Dave & Steve and a couple of other windsurfers all out

Went to Fongy's as I thought Liptons would be a bit sketchy with the on again of agin squalls.
Got there to see glass and a few Pinnas loitering around, we've suddenly found a way to make Coodanup seem shadier.
A squall came in and a decision was made, in hind sight the 7m wasn't the best idea as the squalls were energetic.
Started out with the speed board which seemed to be going ok so I went to the upper part of the run to set up for a Naughty, 1 hour 10 minuters later I was able to go on that run as the breeze switched off.
Eventually lauched for the naughty but got bounced out of the harness over the chop and couldn't get back in for a couple of hundred meters, got it planted and went down the compromised run.
Paid the price with the small board so changed to the bigger board which got going a lot better but with the plummeting tide was also plowing a lot of weed getting going
Hit too many weed burgs today for my liking.
Had my fix now for Fongy's for another year.
Hot shower was awesome

Good Friday the return to the Swamp, Did a small amount of sailing and a large amount of chatting and waiting for clouds... great day on the water and even better to catch up with the usual suspects except T3, Fin and Basil who were probably all making plans for there imminent hibernation.

Started on the speed board but probably wasted the best wind sailing upwind to get a decent NM. After a long wait with elmo I finally took off on the nm but went a bit too soon and was surprised to see it was over 30, felt much slower.
Went in and got the 92 and on my way out clumped something and stripped the thread out of the front barrel nut so changed to the FF22
Good crew out today and some good numbers but I just didnt make the best of the conditions.
