Sailed at Holloways with Billy and Benny. (By the way- young Billy is turning 50)

Wind was looking good and building ...was ok out wide but shocking for about 500 meters to a kilometer off shore.

I made the mistake of trying to turn in very little wind and was in the water for about 20 minutes...finally uphauling which

took a lot out of me. Had not uphauled for so long that I had not realised my flexibility had been left in the car!!

Anyway all turned out ok ...the 'B' boys appeared to have a reasonable time but adding tomorrow is looking better.

Good to see Benny back from his holiday and keen as ever!

RRD X-FIRE 102 (Gaz said to use bigger!) KOYOTE 6.6, STING 2 - 40cm

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Got out today with me olds partners in crime, Fast Fred and B2. It was a case of dredging for 40 mins before hitting the wind line, out where the big fish roam. Noticed a snapped foot batten b4 heading out and couldnt be buggered ripping out the cam, in hind sight, it might have made for a better afternoon. Evey time I changed tack, the stupid cam kept getting stuck and wouldnt twist around causing me all sorts of grief. Gave up trying to kick it into place and headed home (Back to the beach) with my tail between my legs.....

Meanwhile, on a planet not far away, B2 was busy racking up a few fast paced Km's, to his credit. Took home the "Man of the Match" award today.

Great to be out with the lads. Thank you. Used: WT72, BPR 475, 7.8 OD R4

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Back fresh from Mexico for a fun session at the local mud pit with Freddo & King Bill who's turning the big 50!!  Surprised

As Freddo reported- wind line was a fair way out, but once there it ended up being a bit of fun.

Thankfully was able to keep upwind enough today to avoid any walks of shame- unlike the other two amigos out there sailing today... Laughing- not very often that happens, so thought it be best to document it.

Bit surprised no alphas recorded...

Still great to get out on the water with blue skies and boardies!

Hopefully another session tomorrow!

Used "Big Woody" Futura 124, Severne OD R6 7.8, Venom 48
