Peter Daish (26030km):  1 categories  Sandy Point, Vic, AU 69cm JP with 7.8 mach 1, 37cm slalom WSW 20 to 25 knots well after 30 yrs sandy point has lost its appeal. It looks great that smooth water, its looks fast!! but when you get on it , its so gusty from the sanddunes that werent ther 30 years ago.
sailed in the middle most of the day. couldnt pull much more than 32 max down the course, didnt have my 59cm as damaged , too gusty for the speed board.
Bye bye sandy point . in 10 years it will be no more. beautiful spot but. could see getting a good hr time in the middle. | ||||||||||||||||||
