TRXI 6.3, Missile 49/Kestral 18 then Centurion 55/Kestral 20 So I’ve figured out why we have been seeing so many Pesky Pinnas lately. It turns out when Ross last fixed the fence they got trapped on the Coodanup side and can’t find there way back out. Hats off to Boz with the speed of the day and how cool is Lunny sailing a homemade board. The centurion rocked in the chop on the outside of Coodanup and I’m glad I finally gave it a ride.

Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU. FF89/SCR6.3/TWS29. High tide and challenging choppy conditions today, particularly with my broken schnozzle a fresh reminder of what can go wrong.  Good to be out with Lachy and the Busso crew and no injuries today apart from Dave destroying his loaner sail Surprised

Lovely to get out on the water today. Probably missed the best of the wind but went out after the last of the rain had passed through and afternoon turned fairly sunny. I think my fastest run was my first one.  Was nice just blasting up and down in the gusts and throwing some u-turns in the smooth on the far side.  Nice to see so many out and share the fun with everybody.  Good to catch up afterwards too.  All in all, just a fun afternoon.

Heaps of fun in the pond.

But took a gamble on there being some nice big gusts, rigged the 5.0 on the 43cm board with 19.5cm @ 45/50. Gamble didn't pay off, should have used the 5.4 or even 5.8.

The 5.0 was good though, it was nice and cruisey, let me get some much needed T.O.W.

God crew out, the usual Peskys and even a few MMs Plus Strop of course, who provided a wind sock to mark the initial bear off, and wind direction.

The pond is getting high tech.

Tried Strops entry today, may be OK in bare feet, but I was slipping all over the place in booties, wouldn't have been as bad if I wasn't carrying the rig. But think I'll stick to the channel in future

Great to hear you got through unscathed Stretch and that's (yet again!) fab speed for choppy water! Cool

Thanks Paul, that explains why my first run was the fastest, it was at 1330, just as the wind started to drop off
