Another Top 10 day at the mudpit!  Sailed with Capt'n Kel, still Queen Bill & Gaz.

Kel was already out on the water on arrival just before 1pm.  Queen Bill was champing at the bit rigged and ready to go & Gazman joined us a little later on in the sesh.

Steady wind to begin with, similar to yesterday, so decided to rig the Severne OD R6 7.8 along with "Big Woody" Futura 124 & Venom 48.  Cruised around for the first 50k's or so until the wind kicked up a notch.  Then swapped out the Futura board and plugged in the Exocet Turbo 106 with BP Sabre 37.5- had soooo much fun on the smaller board catching some air off the swell on the way out, then some sweet runs back in to the beach!

Great way to end the weekend in right royal company!!! Cool

Gave Queen Bill the heads up to ease down on the Dad jokes Laughing  Happy Father's day to all the Dads out there! Smile

Bit late, never mind. Long live The Queen. Blah, Blah Blah, Blah....The Knaive was already out sailing on the Queens arrival at the Mud Pit, testing the waters as any servant would/should.... The Queen was terribly inspired by the conditions which faced her, and resulted in a flurry of coats and lace awaiting the arrival of The King. Eventually the King showed his royal skin and set about fluffing his royal benevolence and showed inspiring potential in setting up post haste. The King and Queen showed, again, great poise out on the serene green waters prancing of the rolling caps like the seasoned elite that they are accustomed. The Knaive however stayed well away and at times we feared he may be lost. Out of know where popped Jester Gaz who decided to entertain us all with his newly developed “Over the handle Bars” trick. Having been unable to master this the first time, his King bequested that the Jester again apply his talents with greater efforts and again proved that this was a trick worth doing well. The King then decided to have a wee Royal nap so the Queen, thought, Mmmmm, lets gain back those few miserable km’s and gain back her crown and off she shot, only to find the King was indeed swapping out his stead and decided to run a galloper in the steadying conditions and ran a perfect race knocking the Queen back down to the position which she may well yet become accustomed. Used: WT72, 7.8 OD M2, BPR 47.5
