Fangyland with Crimson Splash and later, Pacey, who as per usual, killed off the breeze as soon as he started rigging. I was happy with the FF22 Speed and 5.8 combo the other day, so I thought I would try the FF22 Speed and the KaRace 7.1. This did not go so well and 10/10 would not recommend unless the water is smooth. The fin was directionally stable and I didn't notice any deep off the wind dead spot, but simply didn't have the lift to deal with the 7.1, my weight and WT64. I changed to an original FF22 and everything was good again...except Huey started playing silly buggers and no sooner did I adjust outhaul or downhaul, the breeze would drop/increase, so I spent a lot of time mucking about with the rig when I should have been sailing.
