el'Bog, 15-20kt w-sw.

First to arrive, set up my 6.2M1, BPR325 on the i97 and sailed for about thirty minutes, getting my eye in. Just as my gear got dialled a big lull forced me to limp home. Just as I got to the foreshore it swung s-werly and kicked.

Lunch and out again, with the boggy faithful. Pushed to the reed bank and had some great blasts in the flat spots until I was knackered. Pointed it at the foreshore and let it off the chain - and by some luck the chop ironed out for me and apparently handed me my fastest naughty! w00t!

murray mouth, SA, AU

same fantastic conditions as last night. 20 to 22 knots SW this time not ssw which made it better to get off the shore to the speed spot, although everything is speed here.

had Jp 69cm 112L board with 7.8 mach 1 and 39 cm fin this time. heap more power, more planning better get up and go but not as mucch top speed.

Was happ to sail big runs of 4 km on way. DId a hr speed and went for some alphas on the speed course. so so sooooo much fun with rob and just slaloming around on 1 inch chop, clear water and smooth across the mouth .

Crazy crazy place even 1 dredge was having a rebuild so whole mouth clear, I'll try and you tube some footage.

Interesrting you say that Mike. Me and Yetti sailed at Sugars mid-winter a few years ago and a police car parks next to us as we were packing up checking us out (the cop didn't get out of his car to question us - it was almost snowing). We figured that we must've been sailing too close to the private jetties, which was a bit rough, because the wind was almost on shore and it was impossible not to. I think some nosey resident there was (is ?) a bit of dibber-dobber I think and they don't like windsurfers.

Really mike who no one has gone over 40 at the mouth yet you must be confusing lake George.

They were fining people for no life jacket at one stage.

Awesome session today at the Goolwa Alpha Channel. First time out my new Starboard iSW49 speed board. Rigged the Koncept 5.0m, and used the trusty KA/Lockwood 23cm sym fin. The first run was a 40, next one a 41.1, next one a 42.2, next one a 43.7, next one a 45+. The day was just unbelieveable. Great to sail it with Joe, Tim and Sam. Tim and Sam will both be posting some pb's also, so I think we all drove home with smiles. The most amazing thing for me, was that I have also got the iSW44, and I didn't even use this board as the wind was quite square, and was up and down a bit. So the 'big board' did just fine. Wind was around 25 - 40 knots and the water was superbly flat. Great session.

Hey guys a couple of observations regarding the mouth sailing . 1. The boating rules around the mouth are that it is a four not limit unless you are a sailing boat . The Mundo channel is different however and you are limited to 4 kn no matter what you are. 2. I stay away from the dredges well at least 10 m I know one of the guys who work there and and he is a sailor as well and so perhaps I have a little bit of sympathy for us . What will stuff it up for us will be the kite surfers. One of them will hit the bridge scene either with themselves or the kite . Hopefully they don’t but I can see it happening soon . 3. I often sail straight past the jetties. I just wait at the people say hello but that’s the difference LOL . The actual boating channel goes straight past the jetties So it can’t be speed that is not allowed as the corrong cruiser does at least 20 kn past them all. And the lifejacket thing well I hate the dam things and won’t wear one. But that’s my problem I guess . Hi
