Peel Inlet, WA, AU iS111, 7m Koncept, 24FF

A very pleasant afternoon at Liptons with Dan, Decrepit, Stretch and Hardie. Light wind, less than expected, mostly 12 - 14 knots with a lighter patch in the middle, but it was enough to keep me planing almost all the time. I did some nice planing gybes that I was happy with.

Better than Maui.

Not enough wind for the 7.0 but still good times with Kenny and Boz. Boz may have some news about his 88 TaBoz Manta...

Not my day, poor manta 88 out of action now, first two runs all good then this ominous sound from the board, delam Frown, same as the 98 just under the mast track. Headed home to pick up the 98 Manta but by the time I got back wind was fickle and I really didn't settle in to the sail today. Good to have Scott out there and Kenny as well (Kenny you made it look so easy, is it time for you to applie to become a member of  the Dutchies Ballerinas Laughing ).

Time to start the repair to the 58 Manta becoming an expert at this caper.

Manta 88, 98  KAR 7.1

Nice couple of hours at Liptons on the Windtech 64 SB with 7.8m Loft Racing Blade and 20cm Tribal delta. Conditions were a bit patchy but had some nice runs over the weed banks. Good to see at least one other Pinnaroo out (Anita) amongst the Mandurah mob - Stretch, Decrepit, Hardie.

Stinking hot day at Leighton with Scott and Boz. Wind was very southerly and gusty with big holes out the back. Even still it was fun on the foil and wave sail. Went with the big stabilizer and sailed downwind to dutchies and back upwind. Going crosswind and slightly broad was a handful even with the 5.3 sail. The foil breached a few times but just managed to avoid a nose dive and catapult. Tailwind dropped by as I was packing up.

5.3 blade, isonic 117, GTR 800 wing and 330 stab
