Marmong Point, NSW, AU

Exocet RF91, TRX 7.0, Naish Foil - Wind S 12-15 knots

Really nice foil session at marmong in a sweet southerly.  Great to be on the water with all the raceboards doing their state championships.

Coal Point, NSW, AU, Southerly 8-20kts

Stingray, Whisperer and 6.5m

Gusty southerly. Cruisey at first. Followed the yachts up around Pulbah were the wind suddenly decided to go crazy

5-20kts S - SE Marmong Point, NSW, AU

5.8m KAKult - 85ltre Windtech Magic Bullit - 23cm makani fin ( 1 run)

7m M2 OD - Rs4 ( 111ltres) - 39cm C3 Sting pointer

 7m M2OD - Rs2 ( 90ltre) - 33cm select pointer

Well I used everything I bought today..Undecided I really wanted to use the Windtech but it was too patchy.

The big board was good for the lulls ( although not enough to plane through them ) but it was feeling a bit too big in the chop in the gusts.. Had a few runs on that combo and then it looked 20kts out in the middle so I took the Windtech out. It gradually died as I went out and I was sure i'd get stuck out there but surprised myself by doing a dry gybe and getting back in. A few puffs had me planing.

I'll be glad when I get a decent sail ( 5.7m Gator is on the way ). The Kult is stuffed. At one stage I couldn't get going and the CEO felt like it was in the mast ( my front hand was right up near the mast). I checked and the battens hadn't rotated around ..Undecided I finally got a gust and they did and it felt a lot better but I've obviously ruined it when I modified the cutout years ago.

Back out on the big board but it was getting pretty manic in the gusts so changed to the smaller RS2. Much better! Had a few nice gusts but by now the wind was getting even patchier , had turned more SE and I was getting tired and starting to fall in so I called it a day.

There probably would have been enough wind to use the Windtech at valentine but it would have been too offshore by the end.

Gert , Lajos, John, Barry , Tony foiling plus others  and the raceboard guys.
