very patchy 8-12kts ESE then 12-17kts E Coal Point, NSW, AU

 7.5GT Turbo- RS4 ( 111ltres) - 39cm C3 Sting pointer

It looked pretty bad when I got there but Andrew assured us it was better further out. Spent the first hour trying to catch any 10-12kts patch of wind and on the plane about 20% of the time.. I had to stop regularly to get strands of weed off the fin but it was great fun if you could get a big enough patch to plane. Nice easy sailing and pretty flat.

Had a few long runs from Wangi to Carey bay on and off the plane although the wind was more consistent closer to Carey. It came in at 4pm and had a great long 7km  run from Wangi to Carey . Managed to plane through the lulls and once above the point I was well powered all the way across and back. I was hoping it didn't get much more and it didn't.

I think the nm would have to be a PB for the big board in the chop and the 2 sec is pretty good for me in the lumps. Smile

It was good as I came in and washed the gear but I'd had enough by then.I wore boardies today and I was getting cold at the end. This season I've been in a spring suit usually we'd be in boardies at this time of year..

Andrew , a short appearance by Tony , Brent?? ( flew past me out in the middle) , Hugh and Gert all on foils. I was the only slapper.
