el bog, souwester yo-yo-ing between 14 and 20kts.

I managed to swing a day off at the last minute and bee lined for bog, to find a handfull of the brave/desperate.

7.0 Overdrive, the Isonic 97 with BPR375 launching just before lunch. About an hour later some gusts were getting hectitc. So down to my 6.2m Mach One and sub my new BP Sabre 325 into the Isonic for a test run. The i97 was on the big side given the lumps, but my thinking was: at least I'll get home if it drops. But it never did. Should have gone the Falcon 87l, which in hindsight would have been good. New fin sat the board lower and made crossing chop more comfortable. Eager to test it on the Falcon when I get the chance.

A fun blast (especially an awesome cross-lake drag with Chris D). Very lucky to get out mid week, and in Autumn no less.

Left watch on for the drive home, don't know how to filter out so won't post any numbers. Normal day for me, saw a 25+ and about 20km distance on watch.

Hey Daishy, I'm slowly feeling my way along and getting more confident with every session, totally different from windsurfing in terms of the power comes from the foil and not the sail. I have to say I'm addicted and can't wait to get good at it where I don't have to think of what I'm doing and fully enjoy it.

One thing I noticed when sailing my normal gear is how much drag there is through the water and how rough it is on the legs, foiling is smooooth and silent your gliding over all the crap.

Hi Jacko, The easiest and quickest way to delete the drive home is probably to send you file to a team mate who has an analysis program. next easiest is

to downoad and use GPSspeedreader. Smile
