I went out too early . It looked good but had no punch and I spent the first few hrs feeling glued to the water with a heavy rig..
I decided to try the WT 34cm pointer for the first time. It was a bad choice as there was nowhere near enough wind and some floating weed. That probably didn't help me when it was lighter.
I came in and put the larger tectonics weedy in.It had picked up a few kts and I finally started to get planing and it was ok for an hr or so..The best I got was the last run down past the point and back to the shore..It was starting to look pretty good out wide but after 3 hrs I was buggered..
Next time I'll aim to go out later..
Andrew , Tony , John on foils , Gert on foil and fin, at the end Brent was flying on slalom gear.. few foiling moths and other sailing craft. A lovely day but I'm looking forward to some meaty NEers..
