Snuck away thinking there might be some chook pond action. Mark was already there. 6.3m 47 21wsp. Wind backed off as soon as we got in there and tide was dropping. samphire was sticking out of the water a bit and there wasn't much wind happening near it. Battled a solid squall complete with pounding hail. It won. Couldn't (and didnt even try) to waterstart.
Waited around and the wind came back in pretty hard, but still no joy behind the bank. Was getting tricky to start with the water gone. Fastest runs ended up on the downwind side of the pond just letting it rip in the middle where the wind was.
spewing wasted too much time seeking bank perfection which never happened, when there was flat enough water everywhere due to low tide.
still great to get the arms stretched.
