Koombana Bay, WA, AU. XF122/2XS7.8/46 pointer First sail on the big XFire, thought I'd try it out at KBay. Pointer went well, no trouble staying upwind in the notoriously fickle winds of the bay. Need to tweak the setup a bit to get her flying off the fin a bit better. Was a fun quicky

Some lumpy goodnes out at Novara today. Breeze was a bit patchy, when it was on it was nice, but there were quite a few lulls.

Only one run out towards the platform the rest just to Chanel marker.

Feeling a fair bit crap today, plus a bit sore from yesterday (Less than zero match fitness) having a sail helped.

Quick sail with Frank in a light breeze, scooting across the estuary - running down the small chop lines made for a relaxing arvo. (Tide too low to head on to the flats). WT Cruise 287 Simmer7.8 FF24  

A kiter launched into the powerlines - no one hurt, but was a bit scary initially. I was hoping a stroppy Stroppo would be on the Western Power crew, so I could give him some helpful advice about blow-up toys, but unfortunately he was a no show.
