Valentine, NSW

SB Slalom config. foil / JP 135 / SS7.0

S 12-20kts - Fun session in an up and down southerly on a warm sunny day with hardly a boat to be seen! Happy with the nauti as it was out in the lumpy stuff and was a hell of a ride!Sealed Sue was out looking very comfortable, as well as Dave and Dr Dave.

Patchy 10-19kts then consistent 15-20kts SSW-S Valentine, NSW, AU

 7m Turbo- WT57- 28cm WT weedy

Great fun! SmileTongue out

5x10 Lake Macquarie PB, good 2 sec and an ok alpha for the conditions..must be pretty close to a location  distance PB too..WT57 2 sec PB for Lake Macquarie

1st use of the Turbo and try of the RDM mast . Really nice , light , stable , rotates great..Lovely combo with that board. I think it will become a favourite.

Started out a little patchy but nicely powered in the gusts. I wore myself out wearing the Wizmount for the first hr or so..Frown

Gybes were a bit dodgy at first but as the wind came in I started to get them..not pretty but dry..Laughing I need to get my weight further forward and keep pressure on the inside rail plus flip earlier..

I didn't notice the chop much. There were a few rollers forming at the peak but some nice flatter areas which were great if you could line up a decent gust.

I was pretty tired by the time it got good . The board was getting a bit flighty so I got the 24cm fin out to change down. grr It needs packing under the front..Undecided so I put the 28cm back in a and added extra tail flex c 80%..that did the job.

At times everything felt really light , comfy and just right..Tongue out Pushed through the fatigue . I was hoping for some flatwater along the shore for gybes but there wasn't any. It turned a bit more SSE , got patchy and I was only getting going occasionally so I called it quits..

I love that place when it works..Tongue out

Just me for the first 2 hrs then Dave learning on a formula board , Jeff foiling , Steve on a wingding and another person on a foil.

Stingray 800 wing, 5.5m

Set off for a 1 hour attempt. Soon became apparent I was wasting my time. So just cruised around in a gusty on and off southerly

Great numbers all round Boston. Are they foiling PBs for Alpha and NM?

Thanks Andy, Sue. The NM is a big PB. I think i will struggle to better that one for a while. The alpha Im not sure. Ive had a couple of 19's but ive found it difficult to progress much past it. You are smashing it, Andy!!
